When you modfied the bootmii folder (or the files in it) did you create a backup of it? You need the bootmii folder on your SD card with the correct armboot.bin bootmii.ini and ppcboot.elf files for it to work. For it to be loading MMM means at some point those files were changed by someone to make it load MMM. If you don't have the originals you can try finding them online and put them in the folder. Or just run the hackmii installer and it will create them again (delete the bootmii folder first)

Thank you, this worked! 100% backup with no bad blocks after verify!
As far as I can see, nothing bad happened, but after it was done I told it to go to the HBC. Black screen. I held power, started up again and nothing was wrong.

Glad it worked!! I'm just sorry that it took so many people misreading your problem to begin with lol I'm not sure why it back screened on you. Have you tried going into bootmii again and just going directly to the HBC icon? May have just been a glitch...

    I'm not sure, but I don't think it's a big deal.

I had this same issue....all I did was run the Hackmii installer again with a different SD card and the issue is no more, just follow the prompts to prepare the SD card and install bootmii...if I ever would have to load a back up of my NAND I have an extra SD card just for it.
