    Wii Back up help.

    I modded my 4.2u wii about a year ago.Ifollowed messie's tut:

    http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...tem-menus.html

I skipped the step about making a NAND back up because i didnt have enough room on my sd card. I wasnt too concerned at the time. As months passed on i came upon a thread that mentioned backing up your wii on priiloader. All i had to do was hold B and go through some simple steps ( do not remember exactly).

I became concerned recently because i read that installing wads can propose a bricking threat. I dont want to brick my wii because i installed some glitched wad.

So my question is, am i protected enough with the steps i did on the priiloader?

No you NEED the nand backup. Run through the softmod any wii guide, your softmod is probably way out of date. Don't skip the nand backup.
    Damn I suck!!!!

Priiloader blocks updates from working. A nand backup restores your wii to how it was when you backed it up.

oh i see, but atm i currently do not own a 1 gig sd card. That means i cant make a nand back up. Do you recommend i stay away from all wad installations until i make a back up?

I recommend you get a card immediately and make the backup. You need about 550MB. Follow the softmod any wii guide when you get the card....yes don't install anything else until you make the backup.

A 2 gb sandisk sd card at wallyworld *walmart* is under 10 bucks. It is proven to work, I have used four of them. It is better to spend 10 bucks than have a big paper weight.
