USB Loader GX stopped loading my games

It was loading games fine for about a week, but now whenever I choose a game to load, the screen goes black and then crashes into the HBC. There are two mistakes I made that might be causing this:

    1) I deleted the Configurable USB Loader, LoadMii, a backup loader I don't know the name of, Everybody Votes, and Nintendo's annoying advertisement channel from the system menu. I dunno if any of that is tied to the "Softmod ANY Wii" guide.
    2) I put the Wad Manager's dol USB Loader GX Channel's wad and in the apps folder of my SD card. When it didn't work I decided to move both files to my wad folder and load HBC, and then to the wad folder's subfolders when I didn't see it in the HBC menu. (I have no idea why I did this. I've since read how to install a wad, and that I already had wad manager.)

I've tried reformatting my hard drive, and wiping my SD except for GX, and neither worked.
The only idea I have for fixing the problem is to work on the Wii itself. My guess is to re-install the softmods.
Would that be safe? Is there any chance it would work?
Is there some solution/problem that I'm overlooking?

    Thanks in advance.

You may need to re softmod (its safe to do that if you do it right)
check here first though that may solve your black screen issue..if not try re-softmod.

Thanks for the link! Unfortunately it didn't seem to work for me.

I decided to take your other advice and re-softmodded. I also cut my losses and went with a WBFS partition and Configurable USB Loader. At least until I'm read-up enough to troubleshoot.
    Thanks again for your advice.
