    Only WiiFlow worked for me

After headaches of juggling through HDD loaders, I got one that is allowing me play!

I follow maui's 4.3u guide using Jodi. Only installed hermes 222 set and 249 rev 17? i believe network install.

Tried usin loader gx as that was pretty popular, then uloader, cfg loader... all gave me the same results. Freeze about 30 seconds into intro vids.

Am using WBFS Manager 3.0 on a 40gb 2.5" external case, usb powered/connected, partitioned as WBFS (primary) and FAT32(logic), which was parted with Partition Magic Pro.

WiiFlow, with default settings, loaded right in and have not experienced any freeze ups thus far (though very lightly tested)

Just my 2 cents for anybody dealing with headaches and freezes from the other loaders.

Lately a lot of newbies think it's okay to ignore directions and do whatever they want instead. It's getting really annoying, because I put a lot of time into helping and they screw things up worse by ignoring anything they don't feel like doing. I talked about it here:

Quite frankly, I find it more amusing to watch them freak out because they didn't follow instructions put right in front of them.

There is tons of threads on usb loader and issues. Even guides for them. Why are you posting this here?

    Where is your introduction post?

    Maybe I missed it.....

I installed all the cios/wads from maui's guide, those aren't the only 2 on the system... if anyone's curious i can post a syscheck for details, but afterward i reinstalled the updated hermes set (just in case) and the 249 pack from wanin (saw a lot of posts about certain rev's givin issues). I did searches and tried different guides to no avail, this wasn't a "hey random useless post". nothing worked for me, same no load scenarios till i tried WiiFlow.

This thread was a quick up for people not having any luck with other loaders or guides. I posted up what set up worked for me, in case someone who's also tried other loaders and has a similar set up could easily attempt a safe remedy rather than getting lost in a lengthy quest to find conflicting answers that has modnoobs drowning themselves. 'Lend a helping hand?'

Thank you, though, to the flamers and trolls for being such supportive individuals. My hat to you, gentlemen, for making the definition of "community" what it is.

Too the other noobs who visit.... maui's mod guide, update hereme's 222 and waninkoko's 249, WBFS Manager 3.0 on your formatted fat32 OR ntfs drive (as ntfs seems to work equally well for me with less hassle), and WiiFlow. a little searchin for install guides and usage instructions and you're set.

.................and to the people who can follow a guide CORRECTLY you should be able to use any loader you choose (even on 4.3) loads of people can verify that it works. Why settle for a quick fix when you can use full functionality and all choices available. This is one of the reasons why you should read carefully before you attempt a softmod.
