Put the wad of the current usbloadergx and the new v2 wad in the wad folder of the sd card. Open HBC and load WAD manager v1.7. select all default settings. when you get to the list of you 2 ver of usbloader gx (assuming it is still installed, if it isn't please reinstall it then restart your wii and enter HBC and WAD manager again) select the old ver of the usb loader gx this time tell it to uninstall instead of install. I got an error doing this but that's okay. restart the wii and go back in to HBC and wad manager and install the latest ver of usb loader gx.

PLEASE NOTE: you will have to reset all your game load settings/disc images/cover images after this as when you uninstall the old version those settings/disc images/cover images are removed as well.

    Hope this works for you.
You know what? This makes odd sense to me. I'll give that a try. I'll check back in with the results. Thanks for the unique idea. I have a feeling it's the ticket, as on my soft-mod update, it told me to just go into wii-data settings and just delete the obselete channel(s)... hmmm.

    Allllllright..... phew!...

So, I did indeed have to find the old copy/wad of USBLoaderGX, (re)install it, and then uninstall it -- I received an error just like you said I would and, when I went to install USBLoaderGX v2 (via WadMgr) and it worked out just fine.

The program must leave some residual files if you just plain old delete the channel. I'm pleased to say USBLoaderGX v2 is back, fully updated, and works flawlessly.

I also fixed the boot to Priiloader problem. First, I updated my soft-mod by doing steps 2-3 on the latest guide your site provides: HERE I've got to say, it was slick and easy using that Multi Mod Manager (essentially press 1 button, and it installs all the IOS's and apps -- gone are the dark days of separately installing each (c)IOS)! Great stuff.

I think my problem was when I did Priiloader during my initial attempt @ updating my soft-mod, I didn't select "load/install" after to apply my settings, so it perpetually autobooted/loaded the Priiloader because I leave my SD card in... if that makes sense...

So, I'm working with a 100%, up to date, spotless and error-free Wii!

Thanks you guys. I really have to hand it to you all, you're very courteous, knowledgeable and friendly, considering you do this all for free. I really have high respect for those of you that patiently trudge through all of our issues, offer advice, and create such wonderful guides for us to share in. You have my deepest gratitude... cheers!
