    why do some hombrew apps say not a valid wii application

    hi i try downloading some apps fomy hombrew channel im running on 1.0.8 of HBC and i follow the steps exactly as i should and it always says why do some hombrew apps say not a valid wii application. help plz

    I've encountered that myself a few times with some older non-updated supposedly Wii apps. Like Chippy for example. I don't know a solution. I just gave up on those programs.

    i have actually found a solution for this simply format your sd card to FAT32 and the apps should work

    Most .elf files can no longer be run with the HBC. You can convert them to dol files if needed (look on Wiibrew.org).
