Ive placed a disk in and watched what happened, the disk does not spin as i said previously but i also noticed the clicks come from the lazer trying to move. I thought about trying some oil on the metal the lazer sits on since there is a little bit of resistance yet all i have handy is chainsaw oil and that gets sticky. I thought if i were to use that, the wii's lazer doesn't have the 15hp the chainsaw does to move it if it gets stuck. I did use a q-tip and cleaned it off and then put water on the other side of the Q-Tip. It was still in shambles when i put the disk in, so it was not connected to the TV. It spun a GC disk for about 3 minutes no problem so i stuck Donkey Kong Barrel Blast in it and it ran for another 3 minutes then i ejected it and put it back together. Does my diagnosis stay the same?
p.s. taking the drive apart is a @#$%^
Sorry for double post, it wont let me edit whenever i try it tells me "A seccurity token is missing"
I only did this cause i skipped two important details
I wiped the metal the lazer sits on with the wet Q-Tip i mention
When i placed it back together it made the same 3 clicks when i tried to ran the disk.
