Question Homebrew channel not deleted and functional after upgrade to 4.3u

I wanted for some time now to softmod my WII to use USB loader or some other similiar program. In 4.2u I managed to easily install bootmii and the homebrew channel and used it since with some homebrew programs and emulators without any problems but never went to fully go throught the full hacking process and use USB loaders, ripping, and any other more advanced stuff. Since then my kid updated the WII with the Donkey Kong disc to 4.3u. From what I've read so far on other threads, my homebrew channel should have been deleted or not working after the update, but it's still there and working. Can I just keep going throught the tutorials to finish hacking my WII skipping the parts about installing the homebrew channel, or should I remove everything and start from scratch?

Homebrew 1.0.7 - 1.0.8 will not be removed with a 4.3 update. Any custom IOSs you had would have been but it doesn't sound like you had any. The first thing I suggest you do is introduce yourself here and then follow the 4.3 Softmod guide as you said starting after the Homebrew install (Chapter 1 Part 3 I believe).

Thanks, everything works great now. I followed your advice and just introduce myself in the introduction section. Thanks for your reply even if I didn't introduce myself first.
