    Wii Flow: " Disk_SetUSB fail" error (edited/revised)

I soft modded using Mauifrog's 4.3U tut including priloader and nand backup (successful)
I also followed the instructions for the optional DarkCorp hack (successful)
down grade to 4.1U via abov tut (successful)
I installed wii cover flow via the tut available on Wii Hacks (successful)
I formatted and prepared my 500gig iomega Ego hd (successful)
I created a wii channel via a tut from Wii Hacks (successful)
I downloaded multiple games to the hd
    played and tested all games
I then changed my menu w/ mymenufy via a tut from wii hacks (successful?)

    Wii Flow v2.2 r304, IOS249 rev17

    Problem:

After changing the system menu: I get "Disk_SetUSB Fail" from wii flow when trying to load a game. Wii flow runs great from channel forwarder or homebrew channel. I can see the disk covers and all games run on Configurable USB loader that came with mauifrogs anywii app pack.

I have searched google/wii hacks for help and tried to delete wiiflow.ini, changed system menu back to the original, changed wii flow theme back to original (was on orchid theme and read that that may be a cause.

additionally NETFLIX does not run via wii flow ( I do not know when this started but would like to make it work if possible)

I have used google many times but am wary to use any advice NOT from WiiHacks as I have found the tut's here to be top notch, professionaly written, easy to follow and work.

Info NOT from wii hacks says installing ciso 224 will fix the prob - Issue 288 - wiiflow - Disc_SetUSB failed - Project Hosting on Google Code

however I know it started AFTER mymenufy changed sys menu theme.

End game would be: Wii with coverflow to run on startup (instead of sys menu via priloader) connected to a usb drive with the ability to change flow and sys menu themes and add games to drive via computer or disk. (not too much really)

I would put links to the tuts I used but they all came from wii hacks. If needed tho I will.

Thanx to everyone who has help so far via tuts and posts
mauifrog, cile, stomp_442, and many others.

If I have missed something I am sure oddgriffin will point it out and make me feel like the idiot noob I am.

From what I have read bad things happen when you mess with your system theme. I'm sure one of the pros will help you figure it out hopefully

netboy: I have read the same thing but this has been the only drawback so far.

and yes, my 500 gig hd is all formated fat32 set to primary, Wii Flow v2.2 r304, IOS249 rev17 the latest and greatest I have found. when I try the update feature it says I have the latest version or no update available.

fat32 usb loading requires 249 rev 19+. Or just use the 222 version of wiiflow.

Just finished doing just that Playerkp420, cIOS222 version of wii flo thanks to Ithians guide --> http://www.wiihacks.com/other-faq-gu...-settings.html
also deleted all of my games on hdd as I read somewhere that wii flow remembers location of saved games and when one is deleted it could mess all others up. not sure if that is true tho.

Emuhack: I do not know if I loaded cioscorp, however I did read and follow mauifrogs 4.3 mod guide to the letter including all optional and recommended steps.

Its nice to know that because I am a noob that I am expected to fail somewhere. "eyesa reeds reel gud masta" JJ

Thanks to all for your help.
