    mostly working softmod, with missing wads

    Hello everyone,

    About a month ago I softmodded my wii using instructions from the site EXTERNAL LINK REMOVED (instructions are messy to say the least). I would have used the instructions here, but the site was down for quite some time.

    So let me explain my situation: It seems that whatever I installed via the instructions from the other site has worked somewhat. The homebrew channel is working fine, bootmii is installed as boot2 correctly, but the wads is where things start to get messy. I only have some of the wads needed installed... well at least I think.

    I can tell you this much: USB loader gx is sort of working for some games, I was able to successfully upgrade my system menu to 4.1 so I don't think things are THAT bad. However, I still feel as though there are missing wads which still need to be installed. I tried installing priiloader and that wouldn't work.

    Here are the results from a syscheck:

    sysCheck v2.0.1 by Double_A
    ...runs on IOS58 (rev 6176).

    Region: NTSC-U
    System Menu 4.1U (v449)
    Hollywood v0x11
    Console ID: 50436516
    Boot2 v2

    Found 87 titles.
    Found 38 IOS on this console. 8 of them are stub.

    Anything look wrong here?

    Anyway, to get to the point: I want to know what my best course of action is if I want to completely reinstall all the wads and such using instructions on this site. I'm not comfortable with reinstalling on top of everything without some sort of advice-as I do not want to make a foolish move which will result in a brick.

    Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

    Your output is messy, agreed. External link removed. Follow mauifrog's ANY Wii guide instead.

    Cile, I just looked at the files I had on the SD I used for the installation. According to the readme, everything I used was from the WeHackWii package. Here is a list of the files/folders which were included:

    00000001 (contains V6174,V3351,v3612,v3610)
    apps
    |--> AnyTitleDeleterDB
    cIOS222_v4_Installer
    cIOS249_rev17_Installer
    DOP-Mii
    homebrew_browser
    usbloader_gx
    WADManager
    database.txt
    IOS15-64-v257.wad
    IOS15-64-v523.wad
    IOS36-64-v3351.wad
    wad
    |--> USB Loader GX-UNEO_Forwarder.wad

    There was also a folder named "nus" which contained another folder 00000001 which contained folders 00000035 and 00000037 with v5406 inside, respectively.

    I used HackMii v0.8 also. If you need more information, please let me know.
