    Install channel...

    Hi!

So I've searched and read threads and guides until my eyes start to bleed, but there are a few simple things I can't figure out. THere are a lot of contradicting guides/info out there...

I have a red Wii 4.3. I have Wode 2.4. I have installed HBC 1.0.7 with Bootmii, Wodeflow and Priiloader 0.6. All of the above installed ok and works great. Oh, of course I also took a backup of Nand.
What I want to do now is install Wodeflow/Wiiflow as it's own channel. Only because there's a curious 8-year old at home that I don't want to reach Bootmii through HBC, which is perhaps more risky than installing a channel...

So I went through lots of stuff but would like to clarify...

Is it possible to install a Wad(wodeflow channel wad) through Bootmii only, without Wad Manager or similar? Maybe there's a Wad-installer built into Bootmii?
My HBC now runs on IOS 61, I read somewhere that I need IOS 58. Do I have that one already(Wii 4.3), or do I need to install that one, and maybe put HBC to run on that also?
I understood from another forum, that a guy(with excactly the same things I have) actually installed the channel just by running Bootmii through HBC and installing the Wad from SD-card...

Another minor question is about Priiloader 0.6. Are there any significant advantages of using one or the other of "Block Disc Updates" and "Skip disc update check"? Both of them have pretty much the same purpose, to stop updates from disc, but there must be a reason both are available?

Yeah, I've googled a LOT... But there are so many different versions and different approaches depending on Wii FW, HBC version and other things that I can't get a clean grip on excactly how it should be done...
I hope someone here have done a wodeflow channel install on the latest 4.3, and can confirm it's doable through Bootmii without any IOS manipulation or truncha bugs and stuff...

There is a guide for this by Wiijohn in the WODE section. You can use cboot2 to launch whatever any app you like to install the channel. It's all explained in the guide.
    Damn I suck!!!!

OK, fixed.. I followed this guide: WWW.WODEJUKEBOX.ORG • View topic - Install wads with only HBC
Appearantly I didn't need to install extra IOS:es or anything, just run as is... SInce my Wii is the new red one with 4.3 from scratch, IOS 58 is already there...
    So everything works great now!

    Thansk for the help anyway!
