Problems loading games after switching to Fat32

Hi. I was using Wiiflow 2.2 with a wbfs drive. It worked well for the most part but would crash or lockup once in a while. I thought I would try formatting the drive to Fat32 to see if it worked better. I used Wii Backup Manager as suggested here. Now using the Fat32 when I try to load a game I get an error stating "Disc_SetUSB failed". Initially I could get the games to work turning on "Patch country strings" (I have no idea what that means). That worked yesterday but today the games stopped working again. I can get some to work by changing the IOS but I have a lot of games and it's trial and error so it takes a long time. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Use the 222 version of WiiFlow, and load all of your games with that (''default''). Some games may need to be loaded with IOS223 or IOS224, but we have guides for that.

Do the sysCheck as Bubba suggested.

    syscheck

Thanks for the replies. Syscheck runs but it will not save the file. It says it can't initialize the Fat32 drive. Maybe the drive isn't formatted correctly? I'll give 222 a try. I'm running 249 now.

No SD card. Just the hard drive.

If what TheBandicootAddict suggested doesnt work id backup your hdd contents and follow the FAT32 here - FAT32 Hard drives and try again.

I believe it can save to an external harddrive as well ever since version 2.0 or something.

Let me try that right now!

Edit: Nope, I get "Unable to initialize FAT"
    Using syscheck 2.0.1
