    Classic Controller Compatible with Emulators?

Can someone post here if they have confirmed the classic controller pro is compatible with the NES and SNES emulators? Mine isn't working and I want to know if I should buy another one or if it is because of compatibility issues

I can't confirm the pro part with either emulator but is it an official N controller or a third party? Emulators on the Wii are notorious for having problems with third party controllers.

The Pro version has something different other than it looking awesome, so it doesn't work with emulators (yet).

I have a classic controller pro and it works with WiiSX and Wii64. I'm sure it also works with the tantric N emulators too.

The Pro version? It seems you have a special one, since it doesn't work for any other person.

Yea, the classic controller PRO, the official Nintendo controller that plugs into the Wiimote. I don't think it's special, looks like the rest of them. In WiiSX I have configured the button layout like the PS button layout.

Hold on, I have two of them, I'll go give the both of them a try. I just bought a new one the other day, and the first one I bought I purchased it when they were first released in the US.

    edit -
Classic controller PRO works with WiiSX, Wii64, and vba gx, so I would say that the PRO also works with the NES and SNES emulators too. I was playing my gba roms from a network share and my WiiSX and Wii64 games from a USB HDD, yes with the PRO.

Mine doesn't work at all (in emulators). Take a look at this:

I have edited my post above. I also have IOS202 installed, along with the required IOS58. I don't know why everybody has problems with it. I'll give it a try on my 4.3 wii and see if it works.

I did my tests on a 3.2 Wii with HBC 1.0.1.

Same thing on my 4.3 Wii with HBC 1.0.8, CCPro works just as well.

OK here's how my setup is. The emulator is on the SD card (2GB sandisk), IOS202 v5.1 (60), IOS58 v6176. I tested with a white and a pink Wiimote and both of my classic controller PRO controllers. I know that the emulators use IOS58 to operate, but may still support IOS202, I found this to be true with Mplayer CE.

I'm awaiting the results to see if I have to update my guide. I have 4 old school classic controllers so I didn't buy a pro.
