    Nand back up

Finally got round to getting a gamecube controller so next job was to try and make backup nand of my wii.

I go to homebrew channel press home and launch it from there i navigate to the coggs and press a on gamecube controller and then the 1st icon.

I let it scroll through picking a few bad sectors on its way.

Its finishes and let it verify and then take sd card out and place in pc

I have only got 1 file on there and reading forums etc should be a few

I have a nand file(bootvis trace file)540673kb but nothing else

    please can someone help please.

    can anyone help

When you do a NAND dump with BootMii you should end up with two files, nand.bin and keys.bin.

so your reset and power button on the console didn't work -> gc controller ?
maybe the key file is hidden by your system, try to find folder options -> uncheck hide systemfiles, check show hidden files.
there are also tools to extract the keys but it should be there.
