If it ain't broken, don't fix it.

I thought it was "If it ain't broken then brake it trying to fix it" or something like that, lol

I'm not sure if you are agreeing or disagreeing with me. Either way, I support you 100%

Funny you should say that, I updated to cIOS249 [57] v20 and it can no longer even read my WBFS drive, any risks in downloading it back to rev 17?

    I agree with you.

@OP --- Installing rev17 doesn't bring any risks with it.

Ok, relief I can now read my HDD again, I guess I'll have to abandon my CoD:BO and NTFS dreams.

I don't understand why no-one has made the softmods match nintendo compatability wise.

Stop complaining about what's done ''wrong'' (maybe it's just not possible the way you want it?) and how much of a mess some guides here are. Just take advantage of it that there is something like softmodding. All games, except for a CoD game and some others, work perfect if there's a good combination of cIOS.

There's a guide for Black Ops.

The guide says use cIOS 249 [57] Rev 20 which I did and it stopped my hard drive from working, it doesn't really explain the differences between the cIOS it can use aswell.

Just switch to Configurable USB Loader. Use IOS224 with the 249 version (the regular one), or IOS250 with the 222 version.

It also says something about IOS224, right? Change the IOS Black Ops uses to 224.
