    preloader

    is there another program like preloader but safer???

    I've never had a problem with preloader! What's your concerns? If its system updates then shadow sonic has a guide for the unupdatable wii.

    That is still being tested. A bootmii/boot2 install and NAND backup are requirements.

    With Boot2 and priiloader you've got the best protection from bricking.

    That doesn't mean you should just go ahead and use it. I am one of the original testers. Someone posted about another brick while trying to install System Menu X like 10 minutes after Pob3008 suggested it. It's a full brick, and since Priiloader was lost during the install (it always is), and the user didn't have bootmii as boot2, he can't fix it. The only thing that can be done is a NAND flash, so hopefully he at least made a NAND backup. Then he can pay someone to flash it.

    My point it, don't go suggesting advanced stuff to newbies.

    My bad i meant boot2 and priiloader not system menu x. ill edit my post.

    I would just like to add that I wasn't suggesting for anybody to install system x just that it was the only alternative I'd seen if they wanted to look it up hence why I asked what the problem with installing preloader was first.
