    Couple of quick noob questions.

    1) What are "scrubbed" files? I see this all over the place and I never quite understood what any of it means.

    2) How do I convert a .ciso file to a .iso file? I researched a bit and found something that a manager by Hermes should work, but when I hit browse for file on my computer, nothing ever happens. Then it also states that Wii Game Manager 1.5 should pick up .ciso and convert them on its own, but I cannot get it to even read the .ciso files.

    3) Are NTSC and PAL versions of games basically the same but with different format? I have Trivial Pursuit back home, and I wanted to get a backup of the game on my softmodded Wii. I thought maybe the PAL version might be more directed toward English culture, rather than American culture. Does anyone know if games like that for example would have any difference in the NTSC and PAL versions?

    4) I cannot get my Wii Party backup to work. It is a PAL version (again I cannot find an NTSC version), and when I load it, my TV says invalid format. With most other PAL backups I can easily just force NTSC under the settings and it works perfectly. I tried doing that with Wii Party but it just does not pick up. I did some of the video patches as well, and nothing ever works. Does anyone know the problem? No USB launcher has worked with it. Also keep in mind that I am new to this.

    1. Scrubbed games are games with the update partition removed from them.
    2. IDK.....where did you get those? Maybe wii backup manager will do it.
    3. Pretty sure they are just different video format.
    4. Do they not have your region games in the store?

I have my region games back home, but where I am at for school right now I don't have access to the discs, so I am getting backups online.

If...... If...... you own a NTSC version of the game then you do not have the rights to the PAL version or vise versa. That is still considered piracy around here. Send for your originals from back home.
