HDD issues - Seagate Freeagent Desk 2TB

I followed the following guide for playing backups from an HDD and checked the HDD compatibility list:
    http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...tmod-only.html.

I am using USB loader gx, and I can copy games from disk to my wbfs partition successfully. I can also view them on my wii. However, when I load them, the games freeze after the message about always wearing the wriststrap. I have tried CFB USB loader with similar results.

I followed the same guide and formatted a Sandisk 2GB jump drive, and the games run without a problem, leading me to believe than it is an issue with the HDD itself.

Has anyone else personally used a Seagate Freeagent Desk 2TB drive for this purpose, and did you have any similar issues? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I tried using Fat32 initially using the guide you linked to, and had some difficulties, so I decided to give wbfs a try. I just tried using the same guide again, and had similar problems.

When using FAT32, USB Loader GX cannot even see that the games are there. With CFG USB Loader, I got a little bit further, this time I got to the game's title screen before it froze.

I have a Seagate FreeAgent Desk 500GB and cannot use cIOSx rev20/rev21, it makes the drive uncompatible. I have to have cIOS38 rev17 installed to IOS249. I use a full WBFS drive.

If you want to use a FAT32 drive, then install CFG 222, and make sure to have IOS222 v4 (as 38).
