    Question Cannot use backup disc...

Hi y'all, thanks for reading this

i've a black wii and trying to play gamecube backup with this console.. i've tried everything as in tutorial [REMOVED LINK_OF_FAILNESSl]

As it turn out it didnt work... I've tried different ways, as to update my cios to rev19 and using the cmios rev 3 installer. everything looks fine, except i'm getting error reading disc in both gamecube backup launcher and neogamma r9 beta47... i'm using verbatim dvd-r on 2x when burning...

Can anyone, tell me what am i supposed to do?

You can't play disc backUps on a black console. You can only load them using a USB. So no gc backups for you because you can't load them from USB

By the way, never follow a YouTube tutorial they are ugly, outdated, and old

If you were to search, you would see that black wii's do not play backup disc's. They have a new drive that will not play anything but original games. usb loading is your only option.

i see.. so the problem is the console itself. so, my only option is my original games then, rite? thanks y'all, really appreciate your replies (except someone who isnt very helpful at all)

    Possibilities??

Ok so we know that gamecube mode turns your wii into a gamecube. Is there a way to change the functionality of the gamecube mode to incorporate an added line of code directing the read from the USB port almost like a memory card? I mean because the wii uses the USB port for games like karaoke rev as a controller port for the mic.

Currently there is no way to use the usb port, SD card slot, or Wiimotes when the Wii is in Gamecube mode.

    an added line of code
feel free to do so, then share with the rest of us.
