Question Softmodded 4.3E, PAL, Wii, having problems with SMG 1/2

    Hello!

I have a Softmodded PAL Wii with version 4,3E. I use a WBFS-formated USB-drive to play games, I use USB Loader GX vers. 1.0 r938 to load games. I have played New Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong Country Returns and Grand Slam Tennis from the drive without issues but when I tried to add SMG 1/2 to the drive, it looked fine in WBFS Manager but when I opened the USB Loader on the Wii, it said the drive contained 6 games, but only 4 showed up, SMG 1/2 did not show.

The USB-drive is NTFS before I format it in WBFS-manager 3.0, should I change this to FAT32 before formatting in WBFS-manager or is that irrelevant since the other games worked fine? I also tried in Neogamma but it was the same thing there, said 6 games but only showed 4.

I read some other threads and peopled talked about updating iOS-files, If I were to do this, what do I need to be able to do it and what security measures should I take before doing it? (I read the not-do-to-thread and it talked about not touching iOS if you're unsure.) And some talked about changing loader.

If you need any more information just ask and I'll try to find out what you need to know. I'm very unexperienced but if you tell me where I can find the information I'll be happy to get it for you.

Thanks in advance for the help!

No this doesn't have to do anything with the ios. Try Cfg USB loader I've never had any problems with gx though

Okey, thanks for replying, Do I need to change any cIOS's in order to run CFG USB Loader or find out anything of which cIOS's I have in order to be able to run it? Or is that only if I want to use a NTFS/FAT32 USB-drive? Maybe a stupid question, thanks for answering!

No just download and put it in the Sd card like any other app. Cfg will work with wbfs, fat32, and ntfs

Tried it out, didn't work, looked the same as USB Loader GX, the games did not show, any ideas? I'm thinking of making the USB-drive FAT32 and try to go that way, but it seems complicated, what is Hermes cIOS v4. (IOS222, IOS223)? It says I need to be able to play. Should I get Priiloader before starting with this btw?

This is my IOS's btw, see anything wrong?

i would swap to fat32 and start using wii backup manager instead of WBFS manager, also try wiiflow's latest verison all my games work great with fat32/wiiflow including known problem games like Monster hunter tri, COD blackops, hawx2, metriod other M, new super mario bros, and smg 1 and 2 and many more....

Okey, I read on the wiibrews wiki and it says you should only install priiloader on a wii which has unmodified IOS's, and I bought my Wii softmodded so I have no clue if my IOS's are modified or not, could someone check and tell me if they are please? The list of my IOS's are just a few posts above this one, under the spoiler-thingy.
