    Wii Connect24 & Priiloader

i got priiloader 0.4 installed on system menu 3.2E i enabled the block online updates and block disk updates in the sytem hacks menu.

So can i turn on wii connect24?? And if i have it on will it remove my updated shopping channel v20 and my patches?? or anything else??

and how does priiloader block online updates?

With priiloader properly installed and hacks correctly enabled, you are fine. Your wii will suck power and always be hot, but you will be fine as far as your mods go.

and i how do i check if the hacks were correctly enabled?? it says enabled on the menu and priiloader 0.4 is correctly installed it loads up when i hold reset button. Is there a way of checking if the 'block online updates hack' working?

If it says it's enabled, you are all set. You could test it if oyu like by trying to sccept an update. It is supposed to error out. I have not gambled on that yet.

I used to leave it on because my son would play with the news and weather channel on it. I don't anymore just because the wii is always hot, and it doesn't shut down my hdd fully if it's on.

You could just look at the little light on the wii when you shut it off. If it is red it is fully shut down, if it's orange it is in standby mode. Wii connect activates standby mode. Click through the settings and set them how you want them.
