dont put SD in until you've deleted stages and come out of stage builder (you probably already know this) and see if that works.
Hey thanks for the reply. It is definitely an SD card. I don't have it here right now to take a pic of, but the root of the sd card is just
    • boot.elf
    • private (the one from the smash stack replacement)
    • whatever other thing that came in the hackmii dl folder.

I've also tried to make sure that I was leaving the menu first, i've tried going all the way back to the main, when I get back to the stage builder, it just stays there.

Let me know if the pack i supplied works the way i said when you get a chance.
UPDATE - ive heard that sometimes it takes a few go's to get it to load by going in and out of stage builder.

Do you think that the save info on the wii itself would affect this? maybe deleting the game save info on the wii from the system menu will help. ya know? start fresh. have the game create a new save point like it's the first time being played by the system?

Did I come off like a jerk?? Read more here

Hey, having the same problem as strikingtwice. strikingtwice have you been able to get the .elf files to load from the sd card yet? Any updates could be helpful to my problem as well

Finally figured out the problem. The Panasonic SD Formatter was formatting my 2.0G SD card to FAT format (FAT16). For some reason the .elf files wouldn't boot from the card in that format. I got windows to format the card into FAT32 and it worked immediately. Hope this helps someone else.

Hi , I am having exactly the same problem. But formating FAT16 or FAT32 did not solve the problem to me.
Any other possibilities why the smash stack is not doing his work ? i Really don't know what else I can try. I have already tried 2 different SD cards and none of them are "working".
