Newbie Error with Wad Manager and 429, please help!

    Hi All,

I hope someone can help me, I have a 4.1e Wii, I followed the mod instructions to the letter and successfully modded the Wii to run backups via USB loader gx and neogammer.

But then I decoded to try out Black Ops, it wouldn't run on any of the loaders and reading in the forums I noticed that if you download "cIOS249[57]-v20.wad" it would work, so I downloaded it, used Wad Manager to install and that where things went weird.

Firstly Neogammer would not run anything from my usb drive any more, then I could see USB loader gx was taking longer than norm to boot up. Once it did it was fine but still would not run Black Ops. Now I was getting a Blue Screen error....and this is where I mess up big time:

I decided that it would be better to go back before I installed "cIOS249[57]-v20.wad" and forget about Black Ops altogether, so I un installed it using WAD Manager and uninstalled Neogammer, then I tried to reinstall it but got a -1029 error from WAD manager. So I rebooted the wii, went back to HBC, selected Wad Manager and now getting a error saying "249 Cannot be found" (or not installed) and it bounces me back to the Wii menu.

Now I can still run backups via the usb loader in HBC so all is not lost, but I have no WAD or 249....

Can anyone help me? Wish I bloody left Black Ops alone lol.

    Thanks in advance.

Do a Syscheck. Open the csv file that is created with WordPad NOT Notepad and post the results here.

    Hi thx for your help.....

    followed the following instructions "
    1. copy and paste the contents to the root of your Wii SD card.
    2. run sysCHECK from homebrew channel, a .csv file will be created on the root of your Wii SD card.
BUT nothing is added to my HBC, does not show anything for sysCHECK....is there a refresh button for HBC that i am supposed to be pressing?
