Major league problems with pri loader

Apologies if this has already been posted.
Father Christmas brought Epic Mickey for 8 year-old son and game wants to force system update. Currently have 4.2E setting and homebrew using USB loader and Neo Gamma to run games on hard drive.

Know Iím supposed to use pri loader to block updates but have a problem with this. Keep installing pri-loader and it says itís installed but the screen keeps returning to the one with pre loader, cios, WAD manager etc. I just canít get to the point where I can tweak pri loader to block updates.

Apologies again if being excessively dumb.

8 year-old son want to play Epic Mickey but doesnít want to lose the 60 other game files he has.

    Many thanks

    Simon

Turn off the Wii and hold reset when you turn it on to get into the Priiloader settings. Did you put a hack.ini file into the root of your sd card?

    Hi again.

Have installed that file on the root of SD card but now Wii hacks all display in French when you press reset during reboot! My translation ain’t bad but just can’t manage it.

Am I supposed to go into the SD card settings, pri loader in Home Brew or press reset during reboot to find the settings to block system/ disk updates? If the last option can someone translate for me.

Sorry to be a pain but minor things like this can ruin Christmas Day believe me!!

    Many thanks.
