Setting up external hard drive for wii games

    Hello everyone!

I just got myself an external hard drive (Toshiba Canvio 500gb). I just want to know how to set it up (both wii and hard drive). I already have my Wii softmodded and have already played games on it using my usb flash drives and WBFS Manager. I partitioned my hard drive into three partitions (one is for my Sony Vaio NTFS, another for my Macbook Mac OS Extended, and the third for wii games WBFS). I have on the wii partition Donkey kong and Epic Mickey but my game loaders don't load the games on the hard drive. I would like help as to how to do this. Should I use a different method that will make me format the partition to FAT 32 and install a different cios along with the pimpmywii that I've been hearing about? My Wii is 3.4U and is using Ios 249 Cios14 rev7.

    Thanks in advance!

You're using WBFS so you'll be better updating your cIOS to rev 17.

Make sure the WBFS partition is set as primary and active.
