What do you mean by a softmod designed for a PAL? That makes no sense.

Well, I don't know if it is designed for PAL Wii's. In the guide they talk about all the regions, but don't say if it is for a specific one.
The people there all have PAL wii's and I have a NTSC-U Wii.

I see here that the sofmod is used for any region.

So my question (fear) is if I can I perform a softmod on a NTSC-U Wii when all the guys have made it only on a PAL Wii.

    (sorry about my english)

Softmodding is softmodding regardless of your region (other than maybe Korean Wii's because they seem goofy and I lack knowledge of them). You just have to make sure you use the right system menu for the Wii's region and so forth. If you follow one of the guides on here correctly you should be good and all of your answers and required files should be in that guide.

As I said any required files and instructions should be in the appropriate softmod guide you are following on this site. The guides are well written and thorough.
