    So it looks like i've cocked it up right from the start then chaps.......

    Is it possible for me to use this MMM-58-61-Hackmii_0.8_BB2.zip, over the top of the hbc that i have installed to ios61?

    Also I did read somewhere in here that if you install priiloader before installing the wads required to hack that you could very easily end up with a bannerbricked wii.... is this totally true?

    thanks people...

    Well I'm nearly there, just need a few more details if anyone could oblige, trying to get my music to play from my HD,

    my original config.txt file looked like this and works great on config v57

    theme = BlueMatrix
    music = usb:/music
    gui = start
    gui_transition = fade
    gui_style = flow
    gui_rows = 2
    unlock_password =
    covers_path = usb:/usb-loader/covers
    covers_path_2d = usb:/usb-loader/covers
    covers_path_3d = usb:/usb-loader/covers/3d
    covers_path_disc = usb:/usb-loader/covers/disc
    covers_path_full = usb:/usb-loader/covers/full
    sort = title-asc
    device = usb
    widescreen = auto
    background = background.png
    wbackground = background.png
    background_base = bg_gui.png
    wbackground_base = bg_gui.png
    background_gui = bg_gui.png
    wbackground_gui = bg_gui.png
    layout = large3
    cover_style = 3d
    color_header = 14
    color_footer = 8
    color_selected_fg = 0
    color_selected_bg = 7
    color_inactive = 8
    color_help = 11
    console_transparent = 1
    cursor = " "
    menu_plus = " "
    hide_header = 1
    hide_footer = 1
    gui_text_color = white
    fat_install_dir = 1

    but this will not play mp3's using the latest version of configurable.....

    in fact the fade and flow doesn't work either.

    Just in case i have also taken the liberty of posting a syscheck as well in case someone could see something that i may have missed...

    Well it certainly doesn't run DVD's, I've tested it, and it doesn't do a thing.... But HD booting is fine.

    I'm sure this is the version USBLoaderCFG_Forwarder-UCXF.wad.... I've downloaded so much in the last few days, god knows where I got it from, I've gone through my firefox history but that usually gets cleaned out every night so no luck there.
    Strange thing is, it is exactly the same name as the one i used from dogeggs guide but looks totally different to my one...

    So is this the one that Cile created.... as i'm thinking of getting rid.....

    and i'm thinking about replacing it with one of these:
    Alternate Forwarder Channel -- USBLoaderCFG - UCXF - IOS58 v4 (Thanks Stomp & Narolez)
    Alternate Forwarder Channel -- CFG USB Loader - DFCL.rar (Thanks Cile & pepxl )
    Alternate Forwarder Channel -- HomerCFGLoader - CFGU.rar (Thanks Thatfloorguy)

    from here, http://www.wiihacks.com/software-bac...der-guide.html just a pity there wasn't any pic's about so we could all get to see how they looked.

    Thanks for the info Cile,

    I noticed a large size difference between CFG USB Loader - DFCL.wad 1,155kb
    compared to USBLoaderCFG - UCXF - IOS58 v6.wad 649kb & USBLoaderCFG - UCXF - IOS58 v6 Alternative.wad 772kb, could you throw some light as to the size difference, is the DFCL one "Animated" in some way?
    Are you using v6 or v6 alternative, could you advise on the difference please?

    Many thanks

    sadsack

    Hi all,
    Due to the time difference between us all, I decided to delete the forwarder I had for Con usb loader, and used the USBLoaderCFG - UCXF - IOS58 v6.wad 649kb, Works and looks exactly the same as my old 4.1e.
    Also Installed Neogamma R8 RC3, and forwarder works well, No background music like my own one, which was RC1.
    If anyone is interested I got neo from NeoGamma R9 Beta 47 download on FileTrip.net - FileTrip
    (forget about the name all versions are available)

    I Have a suspicion though that my brother in law may well ask to have iplayer installed.
    Would I be correct in stating that in order to d/l bbciplayer it would just be a case of accepting the "Wii network services agreement" through "Wii Settings - Internet - Agreement/Contact, this would allow me to access the "shopping Channel" from here I would be able to see what version of the "shopping channel" is installed and update it using a wiihacks guide, and then just download and install bbciplayer from the "shopping channel".
    Or more likely, am I missing some major point that could cause untold disaster?.

    your suggestions will be very much appreciated...

    Hi Krank,

    well I used your guide again for the Shopping Channel, seeing as I was getting the "There is an update to the wii shop channel" message, and a lovely little link to update your wii.... hhmm lovely, So I just turned off the wii, had a quick look at your guide which I remember printing out, the one at http://www.wiihacks.com/general-home...v20-guide.html I didn't bother about ios56 as I was already at "5662" and just used wad manager to install it, tested out shopping channel, works a treat.... downloaded iplayer and installed to wii, tested and working fine.
    (If anyone is interested and you have just installed iplayer and the first thing you get is an error, dont try watching something that may be being watched by a lot of people, test it on some crap programme, also the time of day can give errors due to overload).
    One small panic, I moved the "Video demo" channel to my SD card, and when I went to look at the SD card everything just froze, so a quick switch off, back on again and this time I just clicked on the small SD icon on the main screen, That's when I realized it was the dol for hbc that probably locked it up, but this time it just asked me if i wanted to run it "clicked on NO" and I could see the copied channel there.
