    bootmii/homebrew problem

    hey all.

i'm having a bit of an issue here (i believe ever since i updated homebrew channel to the most recent). when i turn on the wii and try to access the homebrew channel via bootmii, the screen turns black and doesn't respond. however, if i go to the wii menu then choosing the homebrew channel loads perfectly.

do i need to update bootmii since i updated the HC? not sure what version i have, but the file

any help would be appreciated. thanks.

I don't know if you have to, but you should anyway. Run this from the HBC and see if it works.

what date was the latest version of bootmii released?
the file on my sd was created sometime in 2009, so it might be the most recent.

    anybody else got a suggestion?

You are at least 2 versions old. The last one was mid-August, 2010. Just run the installer I gave you. You could have updated it in the time it took to check the file date and make your post.

    Bootmii

How do I disable the automatic load feature on bootmii. I do not want it to load everytime I start the system?

Rename your bootmii folder. Remove the private folder.

    The private folder?

Correct me if I'm wrong but this doesn't have anything to do with bootmii running when the console boots.
