Thread: no matter how much I softmod my 4.2 wii, theres always a disc error.

    I would try your backups in your friends Wii and see if they play. That would tell you if it's truly an issue with you Wii or the disks. You might also try Mauifrogs Softmod Any Wii guide found in my signature.

    Maybe someone else has some ideas because I'm all out. I use USB loading and only have burned 1 or 2 games to disk.

    I will try them on my friend's wii when I get a chance to. I tried mauifrogs guide with the modmii program and it still had a disc error.

    I was thinking that if there are constant disc errors, maybe it would work with usb loading. Which usb loader do you use and how do you like using that? I have a Fantom Drive external hard drive if I'm only left with that option.

    I used to use USB Loader GX but I switched over to FAT32 loading and GX doesn't play nice with FAT32. I now use Config USB Loader and I love it.
