    Suddenly games stop working usb

Hi i have been using my gx usb loader for about a year now slowly adding games over time, everything worked fine until i tried to play ashes cricket, i have played this game before no problem as i added the game saves, but i have not played it for about 6months when i attempted to play it froze just as we were about to toss the coin, so i rebooted but now lots of games now just go black or say imet header error.

aha, ya maybe check the cIOS as wads link below out as well. and look at the recommended setup.
you can install a lot of cIOS alongside and just select the one you want to use in the settings of your loader. press 1 in cfg loader for example and set it to load via 250 where you have/or will install 250[57]rev20.
249 should be rev17 base38. cross check with the cIOS as wads thread.
    good luck

Little bit of an update i installed cios 249 [57] rev 19 some games started working again but star wars lego doesn't so i went back into the wad manager but got error ret -1 so i used another sd card with my backed up files on got back into wad manager installed ios 33 which is what is listed to work with this. but unfortunately still not working, another game that stopped working is jambo safari. One good thing IMET HEADER WRONG has stopped coming up.

i would use MMM to install wads
    http://www.wiihacks.com/dumping-burn...christmas.html
would be wise to have 249rev17base38 for compability and the higher rev in 250.
trash gx if not already done and use cfg usbloader

i am repeating go try some more you'll figure out what is good, if you are unsure run through the softmod any wii guide and get the perfect setup.

I have gone through the recommended settings but problems have still come back, i have put some games that don't work on to a different hard drive and some work that didn't on the other but still black screen on lego star wars i have also changed my sd card now as the wad manager kept giving an error ret-1 even after formatting so i think the sd card is not liked by the wii it's a sandisk 4gb sdhc which has been fine for the last year but is not now.

would there be much point in trying to erase the soft mod changes and start a fresh or is it likely i will still end up here and is it much of a task to go back to the beginning?
