    Save state transfer?

Hi! I just recently decided to softmod my wii to do HD back up games.. I purchased smash on release, was highly disappointed when i couldnt play for weeks, sent it off.. had it cleaned, played for awhile.. ordered a cleaning kit from japan (before they were released in the US,) only to have it have the same issue with duel layer that it originally did, with the cleaning product no longer serving an reliable purpose. So I decided it would just be easier and less hassle for the soft mod..
In any event, I had a lot of time put into unlocks, custom stages, etc put into my file between myself and close friends here, and I was wondering if there's any way to import the original disc save to be used in the Configurable USB Loader? Ive looking around in the homebrews save manager, was left a bit confused, couldnt find the usbloaders save path. Tried google, forum search, and rtfm, but either I'm missing something or searching incorrect keywords.. Any help would be greatly appreciated n stuff

When you play a game wih a USB loader, the games still save to the WII NAND, so you should still be able to access your saves. There is no emulation, it's just in the normal places.

I would have presumed that case, but when i loaded from usb it ran me through the general create a save, no data will be saved etc if you dont etc; i tried creating a secondary save from smash booted through usb loader, which according to the save manager created a secondary save as well

Well I promise you that this is how it works. You need to confirm that you still ACTUALLY have these saves on your system. If you have to, play the game from disc to confirm. If this does not work, you have another issue that I have never heard of.

As stated previously, i can see the save. I'm positive its there, I haven't had the need to delete anything etc.

used http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...d-any-wii.html to mod, used indianpwns, 4.3u.
