Can't run Wiiflow , Wii 4.3 - Wii black screen

    Hi,

I soft modded my Wii (4.3 - wii had been offline for months and I updated it about 2 hours before finding out about the homebrew channel ) and hbc is working fine.

I've used WBSF manager and have a properly formatted 4GB pen drive. I've downloaded and installed Wiiflow onto my SD card and followed the instructions to copy the contents from the wiiflow archive to the root on the card.

I have a /wiiflow folder with a language.ini and titles.ini file with a subfolder for themes, and in the /apps folder I have folders for wiiflow 222 and wiiflow 249.

I've tried loading via hbc which seems the easiest option and have tried both 222 and 249 versions. It says loading, I see the progress bar but when that completes the wii crashes to a black screen - and wiimote goes off as if no power to the wii.

There is no ini file in /wiiflow apart from the 2 I mentioned above.

Does wiiflow work with 4.3 or is there another loader I can use? I am very new to this and a friend warned me against WADs and IOS files so I want to be as careful as possible so as not to brick the wii.

The ideal config I want to use for now is to have the uploader app on the SD, with the usb stick with one WBFS partition.

Can anyone give me any advice?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi!

I'm very new to this stuff as well. Yesterday I installed HBC and Wiiflow on my red Wii (4.3E) and everything works fine. Well almost everything. I managed to run a backup that was installed on a 4gb Kingston memorystick.

How can you uninstall a WAD, by the way? I Installed N64 emulator (Mupen64) and when it goes to the menu it'll freeze. Nothing happens when I use my remote or push the buttons on Wii. The only way's to pull off the powercord. And I can't unistall Mupen.
