    Glad you feel that way, but you should look here and see for yourself. You'd have to enter the blank fields (Memorex, DVD5, DVD-R) but you will be surprised (not in a good way, lol) with the results. This "brand" is a plague, most often CMC MAG... total junk not fit to use as a frisbee even.

    Ah!! I just checked and the stack of DVDs if have are Sony and not Memorex. I'm not sure where I got that from??

    @OP
    You might want to follow Nightstahs advice and try a different type of media. Maybe a friend will have a blank DVD to give you so you can try it so you don't waste the money on a stack of DVD if you have a D3-2 chipset.

    Sony for me has always done in a pinch --- and yes, they actually do make their own media (but at times do outsource, but generally from fairly decent makers not the bottom dwellers).

    Wii-related or you mean in general? If for a standalone player, no real big diff (some DVD burners support bitsetting for the DVDROM flag but only for DVD+R for some "finicky" players from awhile ago).

    If they're Memorex, don't expect them to read or stand up to any length of time at all, lol (but to answer your question: yes, you can).
