    Pikmin 2 Australia PAL Help

    Hello,
I really hope this is a question sutible for this forum. I have a softmodded wii with PAL running apps and channels, but I recently received a copy of Pikmin 2 (an actual copy of the game, not an ISO or torrent, mind you) from a friend in Australia as a Christmas gift. However, when I try to run it is in black and white and the screen moves up and down. I've tried many different launchers and apps, but to no success. If anyone can help me or redirect me to somewhere where I can resolve this question, it would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Sizzmin

By this wording I assume you are on a NTSC console (United States) and if you are seeing B&W video you need to change your loader's video settings to Force NTSC. That should fix it.

Yes you would be correct and thank you for the response.

However, when I force NTSC on Gecko OS and then launch the game thereafter it simply goes to a green screen and the Wii Remote shuts off.

Try a different loader. I have a link to CFG in my signature. You should give it a try.

I'm using an SD card. A noob question: would it still work?

As in the game is on the SD card, or the loader is on the SD card? Either way, you can load the retail disc in Neogamma to do the same thing.

Yeah I heard neogamma is good. Although I see no Force NTSC option on it, at least on my version. Am I supposed to change some settings on the Region Options or Config Options?

And here is where my inexperience in Neogamma sets in. (opens neogamma) In r9 b47 I go to Options -> Wii Options -> Force Video: NTSC 480(i or p, depending on if you are set to HDTV or not).

    Hope it helps.

So I my settings were 480i, so I go to neogamma and change the video settings or whatever its called to NTSC480i and I just get a green screen.
