Unhappy DOP Mii crashes on 3351 install Please help

I am currently trying to complete a softmod of my Wii but can't seem to get DOP Mii to work properly

I am running version 4.3U - I got the homebrew channel running with the smash stack exploit. now Iv'e loaded up the rest of the apps and am trying to complete the mod.

I am trying to run DOP Mii to Install IOS36 (V3351 w/fakesign) I have tried both DOP Mii homebrew 14.3 and the regular DOP Mii 14. both do the same thing.

i select to install it asks a few confirmations then i get an option to choose where to install the wad from.

if i choose install from SD nothing happens. the line just repeats every time i select it over and over.

if i select download the thing crashes with DSI error and a stack dump

if i put some WADs on a jump drive (both in root and under \wad) and load it in the usb slot then select USB it says something about checking file name and loading (it goes to quick to really read) then i get another DSI errror and crash.

is there anything i can do or is my Wii just un-modable ? btw it's not a new Wii either I got it the day they came out.

any help with this would be appreciated

look at the softmod any wii guide link in my signature...follow the 4.3 part (you won't have to follow all of it as it sounds like you already have the hbc)
far as I know, it's because the version of your ios36 right now is higher (probably version 3608)

Put them on your sd card, not usb jump drive.

thanks. ill try the softmod any wii guide since it offers a route that doesn't involve DOP Mii, i'll report back to see if it works.

@ us3rname i do have the wads ont he SD both in root and under the wad directory. it just won't use them i dont get a not found error or anything else. it just repeats the option.

    I think you meant me

It could be your card. Use a 2gb sandisk or less. Some of the apps are very picky about the quality of the sd cards.
