Newbie question, anyone seen my thread title?

hi all i'm new to this, i have just purchased a wii off a friend and it has been softmoded it is version 4.2e, i want to perfomr a format to delete all his saved games rather than do them one by one if i do this will it wipe the softmod off and will i have to re softmod it myself? bear in mind im trying to learn to soft mod them so what is the simplest guide to follow to softmod my 4.2e wii again if i need to? many thanks, Sean

DON'T format, it may cause problems
just delete them one by one.
don't virginize in order to resoftmod again.
You can see what's currently installed on the wii by running a syscheck (link in my signature)
See the Thanks button over there?

If it's already softmodded, you won't have to resoftmod (unless it's outdated - if so there's a guide to update your old softmod)
that's why I suggested syscheck, so you can see what's installed
but there's a softmod any wii guide link in my signature
