    Hard Drive Partition

First off, sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong section. I'm a bit of a newbie, so figured this was the best place for me.

Anyway, a couple of months back I softmodded my Wii following mauifrog's guides and installed Configurable USB Loader, I'm a pretty techie guy so it was all a very painless process and everything has worked great. I main reason I did this was because my wife and I own an embarrassingly large number of Wii games and the idea of loading them all onto a USB drive was amazing. And like I said, I got it all working perfectly, figured out how to get all games working properly - no problems there at all.

My question is: I have a 1.5TB WD hard drive that I formatted all to WBFS. I was only going to partition part of it to WBFS for Wii and leave the other open for whatever, but at the last minute I decided not to. Now I'm regretting it. I'd love to be able to install WiiWare games onto the USB drive (I did search and found a guide on how to do this to a new drive), but is it possible to partition it without losing the data? All programs that I have to do this look like I'll have to erase all usb loaded games and start again and I really don't want to go through that headache.

Also, is it possible to view WiiWare games like you can actual games on the USB loader? I assume not, but how awesome would that be!

    Thanks in advance guys!

I just posted in a similar thread so I don't want to sound redundant with my answers. To my knowledge there is no way to shrink/expand WBFS partitions without screwing everything up. You may have to dump everything and start over to achieve your goal. I don't have any myself but you can make ISO forwarders for WiiWare/VC so you can view and select it from your loader just like you would with any other game. There is a guide on here for making ISO forwarders if I'm not mistaken.

Bummer, I was really hoping I wouldn't have to do that. That will be my project on my next day off I guess! And I'll have to search around for that guide, I'd love to be able to do that rather than just having channels.
