Wii needs updating from 3.4E Twilight princess hack

Hi, I've changed my Wii successfully using the Twilight Princess hack but have struggled with some new games (Just Dance the latest one) as they say a Wii update is necessary. I have the USB loader and Homebrew installed.

How dangerous is this update for me? If I update it would I then have to hack it again? I'm completely not up to date on this as I hacked it a year ago or longer I think so a bit of advice would be appreciated
    Thanks

You need to follow the priiloader part of that guide too! It will block updates alltogether.

Thanks but surely blocking updates would be a bad thing if the same thing happens in the future and games require an updated OS?

no games require a specific System menu, all they require is IOS (disc loading) which can be updated manually. Block updates is better, as updating a softmodded wii with a disc is VERY dangerous.

Thanks Dave, but the Just Dance I have is an original disc and it is asking for a system update from the Wii menu preventing me from playing it?!
Please bear with me as I'm out of touch on this
I have a soft-modded wii then with my 3.4E twilight hack(?) and need to do the follwing:

If you already have a softmod with HBC installed, you can update your softmod with this guide.

Note: 4.3 wiis can skip installation of ios58 and 61, and simply load Hackmii from the HBC.

    Backup and Format your sd-card
    Extract
    MMM-58-61.zip to sd:\
    Load the HomeBrew Channel
Launch Multi-Mod Manager -MMM will load

    -Select Wad Manager -Press A
    -Press 1, Install all wads
    -IOS58 and IOS61 will install
    -Press "any button"
    -Press 2- load "App Manager"
    -Select hackmii_installer_v0.8 -Press A
    Hackmii Installer Loads

Ok I have followed this guide:

    http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...d-any-wii.html

I'm now up to the installation of prii-loader:

You should now be at the main menu of Multi-Mod Manager
    Select "App Manager" -press A
    Select Priiloader -Press A
    Priiloader 0.4 Installer will load
Read the warning- Hold B Press +/A to install
After priiloader installs, it may give error or freeze- this is ok
Hold reset and boot wii while holding reset- priiloader will load
Select "System Menu Hacks"- Press A
I have seemingly installed it fine, no problems from install, but when I reboot the Wii the priiloader does not start. I have tried rebooting and holding the reset button for 15 seconds but all what happens is it goes to the MMM main menu v13.2. Can anybody help please? Getting a bit worried!

My SD card is a normal standard Kingston 2GB one.

take the SD out and see if it goes into priloader.... if it does then you need to remove MMM off the sd card because its autobooting to that!!

Thanks, just tried without the SD card and it goes to the Wii menu. Options to all the channels including the Bootmii, Homebrew, USB loader, etc.
I've no idea what to do, how can I start priiloader please?
