Us 3.2U Wii Wad install problems - error - resets. Cannot start Wads. Which cIOS?

Hello, first of all, I have Hombrew Channel v1.0.8 (newest today) installed.
I can run applications from there fine such as USB Loader GX.
I used Waninkoko's IOS Installer (rev20b, also newest) to obtain cIOS36 following these steps on the installer:

    - select IOS to use during installation: IOS36
    - pressed "A" to agree.
    - select base IOS version: IOS57 v5918.
    - select custom IOS installation slot: IOS249.
    - select cusom IOS installation mode: network installation. (yes, I have a good connection setup).
    - message appears: [SUCCESS]: Custom IOS installed successfully!!
Press any button to continue: pressed "A", then "B" to restart.

Now, when I press the home button on the wiimote at the Homebrew Channel menu, I see:
    1.0.8
    IOS35 v4.16

Why does it say "IOS35" when I supposedly just installed "IOS36"?
While using Wad Manager 1.4, I tried installing with IOS36, but when I try to launch the wad / application from the official Wii menu, the screen turns black, then just [resets] returns to the Wii menu [does nothing].
I tried uninstalling with Wad Manager and installing using IOS35 but I get the same result.

I'm trying to get Muscle March (region free) and Cave Story NTSC-U to work like they worked on my friend's Wii (also 3.2U).

YES, I have searched forums on Google for HOURS looking for a solution with no answer. Why else would I bother to make this new post.

BTW, I WILL delete this post if I receive no answers, so if you see this post, I still need an answer.

    Please help,
    Thank you.

you need ios58, then reinstall hbc after that. It will fix that issue.

IOS58? How do I get that? cIOS installer or Dop-mii doesn't even list that version.
Plus after I get it to IOS58, then I use cIOS Installer to change it back to cIOS36?

    IOS58 Installer - WiiBrew

just do that, i think you may be ok on your cios.

you should edit your first post to remove your email address, not really a good idea to put that on a forum like this.

So I used the IOS58 installer and it was successful. However, when I use Wad Manager the first time with my 16gb SDHC (which reads on the new HBC) I selected to use IOS58 but get an error while trying to load the SD card. So I switched to a regular 2gb SD. This time the card loaded and I saw my list of Wad files, but when I try to any one, I get: ERROR! (ret = -2011).

I also tried selecting to use IOS36 when Wad Manager first starts and installing the games that way. The installation goes fine, but the same problem I started with from the very beginning persists.
Btw, I did just as you said. I used the IOS58 Installer then reinstalled HBC 1.0.8

use the edit button instead of doing multiple posts please.

Is hbc running on 58 now? What wads are you trying to install now? Maybe you need a better version of wad manager or look up multi mod manager.

So now I guess the main question I have now is, if I'm using IOS58 with HBC, do I have to select IOS58 to install with on Wad Manager?
Because everytime I do, I get an error.

I even tried using cios_fix.wad but that came up with the same error with IOS58 selected and didn't do a thing after a successful installation with IOS36 or 249

That's a lot to read from and I don't see anything related to my last comment. Can I put that question a different way that is more by the rules?

The problem is that you are trying to use game wads that have not been legally purchased by you, wiihacks does not support piracy.
