Wii upgrade from 4.2 to 4.3

I dont know if one of my kids clicked something or if it automatically downloaded the update but on the main disk channel it looks like the 4.3 update is sitting there waiting to be updated. I dont want to update to 4.3 since everything is working fine on 4.2 but I cant play anything from the DVD drive now because it says the update has to be installed. Is there a way to reset this so that the update goes away and does not try to apply itself? I looked around the forum but couldnt find anything explaining exactly this issue. I'm sure this a newb thing so thats why I'm posting it in the newb forum.

    Thanks for any help.

What system menu does your wii say it is on? I don't think the updates will download and NOT install all in the same process. Are you trying to play black ops by any chance? It has the 4.3 update on it. You can work around it if that's the case.

    Stop in here too.

Your a genius!! Yes it was black ops. My friends kid brought it over to show my kid and we couldnt get it to load properly. I just tried one of our older games and it works fine.

    Thanks for the quick reply!!!

Could you pass that along to my wife and kids!

Install priiloader, it will prevent any accidental updates. There is a guide in the tutorials section of the forums. If black ops gives you any other problem, look for that guide too. Don't ask in any other thread, you will be tarred and feathered!
