    Con USB Loader Forwarder Question???

    Hi all,

    My original forwarder which was called USBLoaderCFG_Forwarder-UCXF.wad it has a blue matrix type image with a usb icon that changes to the letters SD, in the background are the words configurable usb loader in the background.

    the problem is I don't think it's fully compatible with v60 of con usb loader, it works fine with v52, because you get the normal red switch background as con usb loads, but once you update to v60 the red switch disappears and your left with a bland black background with white outlined letters.
    I was told that this is part of the new meta.xml and is called

    * Selectable intro:
    intro=0 : black - only allowed when direct game launching
    intro=1 : black bg with program name (small)
    intro=2 : color image [default]
    intro=3 : grey image
    This option only works if set in meta.xml <arguments>

    the xml looks like this:

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?>
    <app version="1">
    <name>Configurable USB Loader</name>
    <version>60 (release)</version>
    <release_date>20100912000000</release_date>
    <coder>oggzee, usptactical, gannon, Clipper,...</coder>

    Hermes cIOS 222/223 is supported.
    USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!
    </long_description>
    <arguments>
    <arg>intro=3</arg>
    </arguments>
    </app>

    regardless of what i put in <arg>intro=3</arg> 0 1 2 or 3 it still loads the bland background.

    all I wanted to know chaps is if my particular forwarder had been updated but still kept the nice blue matrix type image on the wii's main menu.

    many thanks for any help chaps

    also would you just use wad manager to install the forwarder over the top of the original, (or would you end up with two forwarders on the main screen).
    Or would it be required to uninstall the original loader first then update with the newer version.
    Are these forwarders editable?
    And a noob question, if you did need to uninstall the older version and you used wad manager would it be named something recognizable?

    If the forwarder has the same title ID then it will be installed over the old one but if it not same title ID then your will have to forwarders
    The title ID is UCXF for this "USBLoaderCFG_Forwarder-UCXF.wad"
    You can delete your Forwarder Channel thru "Wii Settings - management - channel" or use "AnyTitleDeleter"
