    trouble with wiimote

    hello all,

my query is strictly got nothing to do with hacking since my wii is already hacked thanks to expert advice on this site. i have tried nintendo official forums wasnt happy and hoping that you guys can help me out.

i have two wiimote. my seconday remote works fine..meaning there is nothing wrong with my sensor or console.

however with my primary remote, i am unable to get the cursor on the screen. all the other buttons are working like four direction buttons, 1 and 2 buttons, home....however i am not getting the cursor.

this means any screen where the cursor hand is required is a death trap for me and i have to start all over again by switching off the console.

    please please helpl me out

May be time for a new wiimote, they do go bad. Try clearing the consoles memory of the wiimotes(hold in the sync button on the wii for 25 seconds) and reconnect the second one first.

Maybe your IR sensor is broken. I had one remote with a broken accelerometer and everything worked except for the side to side motion required to play games like Mario Kart. Obviously I had to buy a new remote. I could have probably called Nintendo seeing as how the remote was only a couple of months old but I figured why bother and just bought another.

Re-sync them. Just make sure you sync the remote you want in spot one first.
