Ok can I install over 14?

I have already downloaded cIOS38_rev17-Installer.dol, will copy that to app dir on my sd card, downloaded IOS38-64-v3867.wad, will put that in my root of SD.

Can I following instructions I used before when installed rev 14:

Run Custom IOS38 rev 14 Installer from HomeBrew Menu
    Choose IOS36 and press A.
Choose WAD install and press A.

You could, but it would be better if you installed wads instead. Also, do everyone a favor and read the FAQ first. It is right under the wad links.

That wad install is not better. They both accomplish the same thing...if you know how to use the installer then it should be no problem.
    Damn I suck!!!!

Okay. The reason I suggested wads is because I have had installers fail on me before when downloading the bases, so I had to download them with NUSD. This was all before I found Cile's thread.
