    External HDD

Well I asked my uncle if he knew where I could find an HDD in my city (because there aren't a lot of techy places) and he says that he has one for sale.

It's an Acetek or Acetech, I forgot, HDD.

It has 120 GB of space, and he is selling it to me for 600 pesos, which is around 50 dollars.

What do you think? Is it a good deal? Especially since my birthday is soon, I can get it for then, or Christmas.

Too expensive, especially for used. Can get a new one at that size for 30 bucks... and for 50 dollars, can get a new 250GB drive....

In my opinion this is not a good deal. I bought mine for $80. 1TB Hitachi.

)= I thought so, since I've seen people say they have 1 TB for $79 or so.

Well I wonder where I can find one here lol. Exactly how much is a Terabyte? 1000 GB?

@ Krafter, I was actually looking for that topic just now lol, and I would really love to buy one of those, but my area is probably no where near where this stuff can be delivered.

Where do I find the info? I just see
    0+ GB
    100+ GB

But I dont see any actual info on the drives, am I supposed to go through the posts and look myself?

EDIT: Question: The 4.3 .isos of the game are decreased to around ~2.5 GB .wbfss when transferred, correct?

I don't know if it's any help to the OP or anyone else, but I use a 3 in 1 USB 2.0 IDE/SATA cable adaptor and my all my old SATA drives work as external USB drives. I've had no problems running any of the latest games such as Black Ops, COD and Red Steel 2 etc. Buying an external USB drive at this time wasn't an option for me and since I've used this kit to run the drives on my PC, I thought I'd try it on the Wii and it worked with the usual formatting rules for the Wii. Just mentioned it as an option for those who have got drives from laptops/desktops that they no longer use and as a way of saving cash.

Well all the info is supposed to be there lol. The site is experiencing some issues right now and the "spoiler" contents are not being displayed. Try the thread again tomorrow and I promise it will make more since to you.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.
