Firstly i would like to thank the people behind this forum for bringing it into existence in the first place. I am kind of lost here, new to the Wii softmodding scene, i would appreciate it if i could be helped out by experienced members, moderators of the site with a couple of my issues.
I am running on 4.0u in my wii, which is currently softmodded with NeoGamma R6 & SoftChip Loader R92M.
I have a few basic questions:
- My wii is already softmodded, why don't games downloaded from the internet and burnt on DVD's work, like there were a couple of games which did work, but recently, i downloaded the NBA JAM for Wii, burnt it using ImgBurn and tried loading it in both the loaders and both gave me Error Code #2, asking me to remove the disc and reset the console (does this mean i need an update to 4.2u and NeoGamma R7 ?)
- IOS: I cannot understand what this is and how to find the IOS of your own Console?
- Burning games on the right DVD: Is it really so that you cannot burn wii games on slightly inferior quality DVD's, if yes, what are the most appropriate brand of DVD's to stick to ?
Please excuse such noobish questions and queries, The softmod performed on my console was done at the time of purchase from some software guy.
