Wink Is it possible to remove NeoGamma from Wii?

I was wondering, since my NeoGamma seems to be no longer working to play the newer backup games I have, if it is possible to uninstall and reinstall it on my wii. I have been using it for sometime, and now it is not working. Appreciate any help that you can give me, or suggestions that you might have as to how I get back to playing the new games again.

It shouldn't just stop working. Have you updated recently? Does it freeze or return an error? At what point does it "stop working"?

Removing Neo Gamma is not the cause nor the solution to your problem. Post a SysCheck as described here in a reply to this thread would be helpful.

when I put in a disc with a game that I had to use NeoGamma to play the game, and click on NeoGamma to load the game, I get a black screen. I did try to put cIOS249 on my wii because I wanted to put cMIOS so I could play some GameCube backups that I have. It said it installed ok, but when I tried to put cMIOS on it could not find the cIOS249, so I don't know if it installed or not. Anyway right now I can not use my NeoGamma to load new games.

Please do a SysCheck with the instructions that nightstah posted above. That will tell us what you have installed.

You have no cIOS. This is one of the things that would be born out if you followed my advice (and instead, chose to ignore it).

Your Wii isn't softmodded (no cIOS, as stated previously). Best to follow either Dogegg's 3.1-4.1 any Wii or mauifrog's Softmod ANY Wii thread. If you do the former, skip steps 3A-3C since you're on 3.2 --- IDK how you have stubbed IOS 249/250 there, sounds like you fooled with something you shouldn't have (was this @ 4.2 and you did a non-recommended down-grade)?
