    cant play some games

I have a wii that is 3 yrs old, for the last yr and a bit it has been at 4.2 and holding. Up to the last 3 months i have been having trouble play some games( starwars lego 1-6, the new kirby) and some other titels that my kids like. I have been getting an error after putting in my disk. I was wanting to know how to fix that and is there any updates that will fix this. Thanks for all your help.
