    Unable to retrieve homebrew channel

I would just like to state that I'm relatively new to Wii homebrew/modding and that I have successfully ran the homebrew channel previously to the problem I am having now. With that being said the situation I'm in is that my homebrew channel was deleted from my Wii's memory, I tried re-running the smash stack exploit but I am unable to select installing the homebrew channel and BootMii from the menu. I backed up the SD card that was being used so all my homebrew apps and NAND files are safely on my PC. I then tried BootMii to dumpthe NAND file off the SD card to the Wii's memory but instead I get the message that states "Dump is for a different Wii" which is not the case and then "Try harder Hasimoto-san!" when I press any button.

I also tried using AnyTitleDeleter but I'm unable to boot it as I can not boot the Homebrew Channel. I've read that formatting the SD card, renaming the file to "boot.dol", copying it to the root of the SD card and then using the Wii's menu one would be able to boot it. I tried this at least 3-4 times but I am having no success with this

I have looked over various guides that explain how to "Make your Wii a Virgin" but none of them seem to outline the exact problem I am having with mine.

Is there any other solution I'm missing that can allow me to get my Homebrew Channel back?

I realize you're not asking this, but here's a question for you: and just how did the HBC get deleted? The answer: I suspect you've not installed Priiloader and accepted an update (yes, even if you were already on 4.3 since you mention smash stack). That should worry you as much as the other stuff you were asking about.

Unfortunately this is not the case, I deleted the Homebrew Channel myself because I was trying to start fresh as I have been recently experiencing problems since I installed the homebrew, such as freezing. I had not yet installed Priiloader since the beginning of these problems

OK. If this is Mauifrog's guide you initially had followed, you might do well asking in-thread. Your post kinda left me "filling in the blanks" since you didn't offer that info right off the bat, lol.

Yeah sorry I didn't really explain why it was deleted haha. I deleted it because games have been freezing lately and I was unable to run backup games from guides I followed, so I felt like starting the process from the beginning would help fix these issues. As for the guide you mentioned following did you mean how to do a "virgin wii" or how to install the homebrew channel?

Other then getting back your homebrew channel (which you need to follow step 1 of THIS guide) you can probably follow THIS guide to update your softmod to get it back into working order without virginizing.
