    channels on sd

    Hello to all of you!

I just started, yesterday, doing the homebrew thing and installed this and that...

I guess I did everything right, no bricks, no semi bricks, and I've even changed my theme. twice! \o/

I've installed some ".wad"s, such as N64's Smash, Mario Kart, Mario 64, Paper Mario, Kirby 64, SNES's DK Country and two WiiWare games, Lost Winds (installed a long, looong time ago), Sonic 4 and Zombie Panic in Wonderland (loved it kkk) .

Oh, well, I than installed a Mario Party 2 .wad I found in... another site. But there's no more room for it!

I thought "no problem, I move it to SD Card", when I was send to "Data Management -> Channels" and, I've done it.

The hard part is... I can't play it from the SD Card NOR can transfer it again to the Wii.

I thought it was because it was a "not genuine VC" .wad, I mean, 'cause there's no Mario Party 2 eng. in US Virtual Console, yet.

So I copied another game, this time was Smash, which was already released in VC/US. same message: "This channel canot be launched on this Wii console". I than moved Sonic 4 and... the same message!

Is there a way for me to play my games from de SD card? or, at least, move them and successfully move them back?!

Spent half of today trying to figure this out alone...

hope someone here can help me.

    thanks!

You are right...Kind of. It's part of Nintendo's anti-piracy protection.

It's a protip. Read the rules and then read between the lines.
