    USB Loader not working?

Hey guys, so lasnight i sat up till 4am trying to work out how to mod my wii with the softmod, Anyway after a few headaches of things not working i think i fixed it all,

My version of the Wii was 4.3E, im from Australia if that helps at all.

So i now have Homebrew there and working, well it must be all ok as i have succesfully downloaded the N64 Emulator and played the old 64 Goldeneye lastnight.

My whole reason for modding was to play backed up games through my 500gb USB hard drive, so on my main Wii screen i have the Homebrew channel and there is a USB Loader box next to it, i formated the 320gb drive, and copied over a game, plugged it into the Wii and went to load it, but it doesnt load, if i click continue or start i think it is on the picture of the cd and usb drive in the usb loader part, it loads to a screen of a Wii mote (thats what it looks like but the picture is all scrambled, and thats it it goes black and back to the home screen.

After watching youtube vids this has twisted my brain so much that i have no clue where i am with anything now.

Lastnight i put in my brought copy of wwe smackdown vs raw 2011 and the wii was asking me for an update, it kept failing anyway but after screwing around in the homebrew part i loaded the update and the game now works, and the homebrew channel is still working..

But my main goal here is to try and get these games to run of my USB drive.

If anyone can help out that would be really good, ive used up all my lifelines and now its just to much this is why i am here asking for your help.

    Thanks

    Lucas

OK, first off, never follow youtube videos! They are more often then not very wrong, and can cause a LOT of harm of not correctly executed. You say you have the homebrew channel already, and that's very good, on a 4.3 system, that's the hard part. Follow EVERY step in THIS guide and you should be golden. Hey mate thanks heaps for the links and info, only thing i didnt do was a NAND backup is it to late now after i have started installing stuff?

Also one last question, i still have those orginal homebrew files on my sdcard, so im ok to format the sdcard now.. I thought all those files had to stay on the sdcard for it to work... like i have a folder on the sdcard called ''apps'' which has files in it like the n64 emulator files and game files for it.

The files on your SD card are for you to use. If you want to continue to use your emulators, then you will need to keep the files, ect. It is not too late to make a nand backup, it just won't be a "near-virgin" backup. If you have bootmii installed as boot2, then you should make a backup no matter what, as you never know what you will mess up. >.< If you only have bootmii as ios, you should still have the backup for worse case issues. Following the guide completely should give you ciosx, which should be enough to give you access to USB loaders if you follow one of those guides. Also, the 4.3 guide gives you priiloader, which will block updates from disc and internet when properly configured, so make sure you do that so you can play new games.
